I’m honoured to be presenting at PASIC 2024, sharing the stage with the incredible Heartland Marimba Quartet. During this session I’ll be talking about historical performers and the role of pitched percussion instruments in klezmer music from the early 1800s through the “Immigration Era.” We’ll be performing segments of all five suites from my new book, Vessels of Song. We’ll have copies at the convention expo, of course. These suites sound great, are really fun to play, and have some important stories to tell!
